Hey friends,

First of all, Merry Christmas! I hope y'all are having a wonderful weekend with family and friends, as we all hopefully take some time to celebrate and rest.

Since it's Christmas, I'll keep this short, but I didn't want to leave you hanging without an issue of the newsletter. I'm trying to ensure one is going out every Sunday, as promised.

Let's talk briefly about one of the most underrated topics when it comes to our health. And that topic is rest.

We need all forms of rest. Rest for our soul, our body, and our mind.

We're designed to have a cyclical pattern to our weeks, months, and years where rest is as much a central focus as our work and efforts are.

The problem is we never talk much about it. We, as a culture, always talk about what we are "doing", and the grind, the hustle, and the striving. But what's most important is not what you do, but who you're becoming.

And who we become over time, is equally dependent on rest as it is on action.
